Managing Under-Performance

This course is designed to support those who work within Line Management roles, who may be struggling to manage the performance of their staff and their overall performance n the workplace. In this course, we will outline how to create the correct environment for the development of effective team members, how you can communicate professionally and assertively to your team and how to manage behaviour within the office. Once you’ve completed this course, you can expect to develop your line management skills, supported by the shared experiences of your colleagues and build confidence in your own practice. We focus on personal and team resilience to be sure you can continue to learn and thrive within your working environment.

Managing Difficult Conversations

This course is designed for those who find challenging conversations difficult, especially within their work environment or their personal life. We help you to focus on specific aspects of the conversation that you might typically find difficult such as persuasion and influence, and help you to build rapport to support effective communication. Our aim is to support you to become a more confident and assertive individual, allowing yourself to communicate effectively and putting your point across in a professional and understanding manner. This course also focuses on personal and team resilience to ensure the sustainability of your learning.

Building Effective Relationships

This course differs from the others as it supports teams to discover how they can work together more effectively. We will support you to discover your own dominant personality type, how to understand your stress levels at work and how to tackle them in a straightforward and calm manner, and how to notice other peoples’ stress levels within your workplace. We will help you to embed your learning into your working practices and consider how they can be sustained in the longer term.

If you’re a workforce that needs and wants to learn how to work together more effectively this course is perfect for you. Team building exercises will be run in different groups to allow you to connect and develop your relationships and discover each other’s strengths.

Half Day Courses

The following half-day courses can also be run at your location or an external venue of your choice.  The sessions are interactive to support engagement and shared experiences that will help you to embed new ideas into your existing work practices.
